How long does delivery take in Kuwait?

Same-day delivery is available in most Kuwait governorates for orders placed before 6 PM. Standard delivery is next-day. Specific timing depends on your area — check at checkout.

What’s the minimum order for delivery?

Currently no minimum, but free delivery applies on orders above [TBC] KWD.

Do you deliver outside Kuwait?

Currently we deliver only within Kuwait. International shipping is not available at this time.

What payment methods do you accept?

Freshness & Storage

How long does baklava stay fresh?

Our baklava is best enjoyed within 5 days of delivery. Store at room temperature in a cool, dry place. Warm briefly (10–15 seconds in microwave or 5 minutes in low oven) to restore the crispness if needed.

Do I need to refrigerate baklava?

No — baklava is a sugar-syrup pastry and refrigeration actually softens the phyllo. Keep it at room temperature in its box.

How long does kunafa keep?

Kunafa is best within 48 hours and must be refrigerated. Warm in a low oven (~150°C / 300°F) for 8–10 minutes before serving so the cheese melts and the threads crisp again.

How long does Turkish ice cream (dondurma) keep?

Keep frozen at −18°C or below. Best within 30 days. Allow 2–3 minutes at room temperature before serving for the perfect scoop.

Are your products halal?

Yes — all Güllüoğlu Kuwait products are 100% halal-certified. We use no alcohol, no pork-derived ingredients, and only halal-approved suppliers.

Do you have any vegan options?

Most of our baklava and Turkish delight contain butter or milk. Vegan-friendly options include some of our chocolate-covered nuts (check ingredient list per product) and herbal teas. We're working on expanding vegan options.

Are your nuts allergen-safe?

Our kitchens process tree nuts (pistachio, walnut, hazelnut, cashew, almond, pecan) and dairy. Cross-contact may occur. Customers with severe nut allergies should not consume our products.

Where do your pistachios come from?

We use premium Antep pistachios from the Gaziantep region of Turkey — the world’s gold standard for baklava-grade pistachios.

Can I send a gift directly to a recipient?

Yes — enter the recipient’s address at checkout and add a gift note in the order notes field. We’ll deliver without showing the price on the receipt.

Do you offer custom packaging or branded gift boxes?

Can I pick up my order from a branch?

Yes — select "Pickup" at checkout and choose your preferred branch. Pickup is usually ready within 1 hour of order confirmation during business hours.

Returns & Refunds

What if my baklava arrives damaged?

If your order arrives damaged or below our quality standard, contact us within 24 hours via WhatsApp with photos. We’ll refund or replace.

Can I return baklava I don’t like?

For food-safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of opened or perishable products unless there’s a quality issue. Unopened, sealed-packaging items can be returned within 7 days.
